A shareholder with the firm, Jim joined Reminger in 2002. Jim’s practice encompasses a wide range of civil litigation including professional liability (lawyers, accountants, architects and engineers), employment litigation, construction disputes and commercial litigation.
Jim’s professional liability practice has included representing both lawyers and debt collection firms in class action lawsuits asserting claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act and other consumer protection legislation. His representation of clients has included both trials and appellate advocacy before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, Ohio Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court.
Jim is a member of professional bar and trial lawyer associations including the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys and Cleveland Association of Civil Trial Attorneys.
