Overview
Jorden Messmer is an associate in Reminger Co. LPA’s Toledo office. His practice focuses on civil defense litigation where he handles a variety of areas including general litigation, professional liability, trucking and commercial transportation, and employment practices defense.
Prior to joining Reminger, Jorden served as a Term Clerk to the Honorable Judge James R. Knepp, II of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Jorden graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a degree in political science and a minor in history. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo in 2022, magna cum laude, receiving a concentration in environmental law, with distinction. He worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Jack Zouhary of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He was also an Executive Editor of the University of Toledo Law Review.
