As the cannabis industry continues to expand exponentially from state-by-state legalization efforts, industry players have worked to identify new cannabis product categories, in order to increase market share beyond traditional cannabis smokers. Similar to the growth of vaping products in the nicotine e-cigarette industry, cannabis vaping products have proliferated because they are affordable, easy to use, and offer an easy-to-augment flavor experience. However, recent history from the e-cigarette space has taught us that the potential sales growth of vapes comes with increased (and specialized) civil litigation risks.
