Dave Ross is a chairperson/leader of multiple litigation practice groups at Reminger Co., L.P.A. He is widely recognized for his expertise in mass tort litigation, products liability, insurance coverage disputes, and attorney's malpractice defense. He has tried numerous cases in state and federal court. Likewise, he has successfully argued a number of significant appeals including the landmark case of Hybud v. Sphere Drake wherein the Ohio Supreme Court upheld the pollution exclusion in commercial general liability insurance policies. He has represented numerous manufacturers on a statewide and national basis in asbestos, welding rod and benzene litigation. Dave is a member of the law firm's Management Committee with firm-wide responsibilities in marketing, attorney training and financial management. He has been honored by his peers by being selected multiple times for inclusion in "The Best Lawyers in America" and also as an Ohio Super Lawyer.
Jim Turek is the Chairman of the firm's Trucking and Commercial Transportation Practice Group. Jim specializes in the defense of truck companies and their insurers in matters both routine and catastrophic. He has tried more than seventy jury trials throughout the State of Ohio, as well as in the Federal District courts. Jim has also appeared before the Ohio Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to his extensive trial experience, Jim has performed hundreds of 'on-scene' accident investigations and is in charge of the firm’s 24-hour emergency response team. He is a featured speaker to peer and industry groups on topics related to transportation litigation, has been recognized by "Best Lawyers in America" since 2007 and has been honored as an Ohio Super Lawyer since 2010.
Leon Weiss has forty years of experience in trust and estate litigation, will contests, fiduciary law, probate administration and estate planning. He is a nationally renowned attorney in his field and has been selected as a 'Best Lawyer in America', a 'Leading Lawyer' and an 'Ohio Super Lawyer' for years. He is a member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Ohio State Bar Association, and the Cleveland Bar Association where he served as a Member of the Board of Trustees and as General Chairman of the Cleveland Bar Association's Annual Estate Planning Institute. Leon is a frequent lecturer and panelist on probate, estate planning, professional liability, and professional responsibilities issues for the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, the Ohio Legal Center Institute, the Jewish Welfare Federation, Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Cleveland Marshall College of Law, Cleveland Bar Association, County Bar Association, and the National Business Institute.
