COLUMBUS, OH - Reminger Co., LPA is pleased to announce that Nicholas Franchak and Allison R. Thomas have joined our Columbus office.
Nick focuses his practice on a variety of areas including general casualty/excess and surplus lines, insurance coverage/bad faith, trucking/commercial transportation and mediation/arbitration.
Nick worked previously for twelve years as a Claims Manager with a Fortune 500 auto insurance company, where he honed his analytical and problem-solving skills. While working he also attended Capital University Law School, graduating magna cum laude. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (OACTA) and Defense Research Institute (DRI).
Allison focuses her legal practice in various areas, including medical malpractice, tort defense, employment law and commercial litigation.
Following graduation from the University of Toledo College of Law, Allison worked as law clerk for United States Magistrate Judge James R. Knepp, II at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Previously, Allison served as contributing editor for the University of Toledo law review and also worked as a law clerk in Reminger’s Toledo and Sandusky offices. She has experience handling all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, trial preparation and trial.
Allison is a member of a number of professional associations, including the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association and the Toledo Bar Association.
