William A. Meadows: For over thirty years, Bill has been dedicated to the defense of hospitals, physicians, nurses and virtually every other category of health care provider. Throughout his career, he has successfully defended hundreds of lawsuits, mostly involving claims of medical malpractice and hospital liability.
Bill is a frequent speaker on issues of Medical Malpractice and Risk Management. He also serves as Chairman of the Reminger Medical Malpractice Group and is a member of the firm's Executive Group.
This is the fifth time William Meadows has been recognized as “Best Lawyers” Lawyer of the Year. Adam M. Fried: As co-chair of Reminger’s estate, trust, and probate litigation practice group, you can expect an incredibly broad working knowledge of the areas of law that touch upon the disputes he routinely handles, coupled with a rare ability to quickly capture the factual essence of your claim. Adam has served as lead trial attorney in hundreds of successfully pursued/defended estate and trust disputes. He has tried many high stakes cases to verdict: will and trust contests, executor and trustee removal actions, interpretation of wills and trusts and ambiguities, accountings, breaches of fiduciary duty, and claims seeking to void gifts and beneficiary designations. Many of the cases he has handled are often cited in the courts throughout Ohio.
This is the fourth time that Adam has been selected as “Best Lawyers” Lawyer of the Year, Cleveland, having previously been bestowed this honor in 2019, 2018, and 2015. Adam has been listed in Best Lawyers of America since 2009 for Elder Law and Litigation - Trusts and Estates. Adam has been honored as an Ohio Super Lawyer since 2012. He was peer reviewed by Martindale-Hubbell® and given an AV Preeminent® rating.
Franklin C. Malemud: Franklin serves as co-chair of Reminger's Probate and Trust Litigation practice group. The majority of Franklin's practice focuses upon litigation involving wills, trusts, guardianship, conservatorship, powers of attorney, and living wills. In addition, Franklin defends professional liability litigation with a focus upon lawyer negligence.
Franklin is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (“ACTEC”) and a past chair of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Franklin serves on the Jewish Community Federation's (JCF) Professional Advisory Council steering committee, which assists JCF members with continuing education on charitable gift planning.
This is Franklin’s first time selected as ‘Best Lawyers” Lawyer of the Year – Litigation – Trust and Estates. Franklin has previously been listed in Best Lawyers in America for Trusts and Estates, Litigation - Trusts and Estates and Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation.
