Marking our eighth Ohio office and 15th office firmwide, this strategic expansion significantly strengthens Reminger’s legal capabilities, allowing us to deliver an even higher caliber of service and expertise to our valued clients.
Reminger’s Dayton office will be led by Susan Blasik-Miller, Shannon K. Bockelman, Lindsay M. Johnson, Meredith Turner-Woolley, and Michael D. Rice. This group of highly distinguished attorneys comes to Reminger from Freund, Freeze & Arnold.

Susan focuses her practice on the defense of physicians and other medical professionals, businesses, and employers in a wide variety of cases. Utilizing her extensive trial experience, Susan has tried cases in both state and federal courts throughout Ohio.
Shannon K. Bockelman
Shannon handles a diverse range of cases, including medical malpractice claims (emergency, obstetrical, gynecology, and surgical care, misdiagnoses, wrongful death, and traumatic birth injury) as well as long-term care facility defense, addressing issues such as nursing negligence, nursing home abuse, employee misconduct, and Ohio Nursing Home Patient Bill of Rights.
Lindsay M. Johnson
Lindsay's practice encompasses medical malpractice defense, nursing home and long-term care defense, legal malpractice and professional liability defense, general and complex business disputes, as well as fire and explosion investigation and defense. She utilizes her extensive experience to assist companies and individuals navigate litigation and business risks.
Meredith Turner-Woolley
Meredith has a diverse background in civil litigation, including the defense of medical malpractice and personal injury matters. Her background in crisis intervention, psychology, and sociology provides her with insight into the stress faced by patient care professionals and patients alike, offering her a unique advantage in defending these challenging cases.
Michael D. Rice
Michael has considerable civil litigation experience, having defended a wide variety of cases in federal and state courts in Ohio. Michael's practice encompasses medical malpractice, long-term care liability, construction liability, business and commercial litigation, general liability, and insurance coverage/bad faith.
