FT. MITCHELL, KY – Reminger Co., LPA is proud to announce that John Dunn has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in the U.S. Army. On Sunday, July 28, 2024, John was sworn into his new role by Major Cary J. Cowan Jr., Commanding General, 200th Military Police Command. The promotion ceremony was held at Xavier University and John was joined by family, friends, and both military and Reminger colleagues.
Selection to the rank of Brigadier General requires a demonstrated record of exceptional service, leadership, and the endorsement of senior military leadership. In the U.S. Army Reserve, of the 180,000 Soldiers there are 115 General officers in the formations. John will be responsible for Military Police Operations in the Pacific Theater of Operations. As a Military Police Command, the 200th Military Police Command is responsible for global operations. These operations include managing security and support to the maneuvering of U.S. Forces on the battlefield. In John’s new assignment, he will also be responsible for all Enemy Prisoner of War Operations conducted by the United States in the Pacific region.

John will continue to remain a traditional Army Reservist performing these duties while maintaining his practice of law at Reminger.
