CLEVELAND, OH - Brian P. Nally recently presented on the subject of "Cryptocurrencies and Initial Coin Offerings" as part of a Professional Liability Attorney Network (PLAN ) Webinar held in April. Brian joined presenters Sam Edgerton and John Goselin of Freeman Mathis & Gary to discuss cryptocurrencies, and how government regulators and the legal system are scrambling to figure out who will regulate these activities and how to do so effectively.
The webinar described the marketplace for cryptocurrencies and the recent legal actions taken by the SEC and other regulators regarding cryptocurrencies and Initial Coin Offerings. Potential hazards for broker-dealers, investment advisors and registered representatives who wanted to get involved with cryptocurrencies were also addressed.
