CLEVELAND, OH – Reminger Co., LPA is pleased to announce that Lake County Common Pleas Judge John P. O’Donnell has appointed Russell J. Meraglio as Grand Jury Foreman for a three-month term commencing July 2018.
A shareholder with Reminger, Russ is frequently called on to handle disputes between next-of-kin, beneficiaries, guardians and executors regarding will contests, joint with rights of survivors or payable on death disputes, transfer on death beneficiary disputes, guardianship appointments/terminations, and any and all cases regarding a probate or non-probate financial misuse regarding a decedent or elder clients.
Russ has been invited to speak on behalf of many organizations on issues ranging from probate administration to undue influence and incompetency claims to guardianships and guardianship litigations. Those groups include the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, National Business Institute, Sterling Institute, Cleveland Marshall College of Law and numerous other entities
Russ is a member of many professional organizations including the Ohio State Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. In addition to professional organizations, Russ is a past Vice President and President of the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities; member of the Justinian Forum; Trustee of K.I.S.S. Foundation (Addiction Recovery); Board of Trustee of Club Molisani, and a Committee Member of the Wickliffe Italian American Club. He currently serves as a prosecutor for Lake Metroparks. He has also served as an assistant prosecutor for the cities of Willowick, Willoughby Hills, and the Village of Waite Hill.
