Reminger Co., LPA Celebrates Accomplishments and Looks Toward the Future
Reminger Co., LPA has established its reputation as not only a diverse litigation firm, but also as a sophisticated provider of legal services including real estate, corporate, business, tax, estate planning and probate matters. Our extensive client base ranges from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses, and our attorneys are involved in defending civil cases at jury trials, arbitrations, mediations and other administrative and alternative dispute resolution processes.
Firmwide, thirteen of Reminger’s practice groups were ranked “first-tier” by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers for 2011-2012, including a national tier one ranking for Transportation Law. Individually, Reminger attorneys were honored by highly regarded organizations for their commitment to the legal community in addition to recognition by their peers.
Within the last year, 56 Reminger attorneys were honored by Super Lawyers. The following Cleveland-based attorneys received additional special recognition:
• Clifford Masch: Top 50 Cleveland
• William Meadows: Top 100 Ohio; Top 50 Cleveland
• Stephen Walters: Top 50 Cleveland
Best Lawyers in America recognized 26 Reminger lawyers for 2012. Additionally, four lawyers from our Cleveland office were selected by Best Lawyers as Cleveland “Lawyers of the Year” in specific practice areas:
• Mario Ciano: Personal Injury Litigation-Defendants
• Leon Weiss: Trusts and Estates Litigation
The Cleveland Plain Dealer announced Reminger as one of the “Top Workplaces in Ohio” for the second consecutive year, an honor achieved through positive feedback from our employees.
“The Top Workplaces award is extremely gratifying because it validates all that we’ve done to make Reminger a great place to work,” said Stephen E. Walters, Managing Partner of Reminger. The firm has worked to facilitate an environment that makes employees feel like family. The Women’s Initiative provides resources and opportunities for female attorneys to become successful leaders at Reminger and in the community. The Reminger Foundation supports charitable organizations in the communities where our employees and clients live and work, awarding 81 charitable grants last year.
“As a DCA executive-level strategic partner and stakeholder, we are particularly enthused about the great things happening downtown. The city is growing and maturing in an exciting way which gives us tremendous optimism for the city and the firm’s future,” said Walters.
Indeed, the optimism is warranted, as our firm announces the opening of a new Reminger office in Indianapolis, effective September 1st.
“We have expanded into Indiana because our existing clients believe our style of delivering legal services can make an impact in the state,” said Walters. “This expansion will also enhance our regional presence allowing for our clients to have consistency of legal services in Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.”
Reminger has called Cleveland home since 1958, when we first opened our doors at 75 Public Square. Over the past half a century, Reminger has grown from two individuals to several hundred attorneys, paralegals and staff. We have expanded into Columbus, Cincinnati, Akron, Toledo, Youngstown, Sandusky, Louisville, Lexington, Fort Mitchell, and now Indianapolis. Through all these changes, one guiding principle has remained the same – a commitment to our clients and a no-nonsense approach to legal counsel that is reflected in our firm’s tagline: “Results. Period.”
