Reminger Obtains Defense Verdict in Favor of Interventional Radiologist

In a medical malpractice/wrongful death claim, Reminger attorneys Michael Murphy and Alexandria Esposito obtained a defense verdict for their interventional radiologist client.

Plaintiff claimed that our client was negligent and failed to order pre operative blood work in a patient with a known bleeding disorder. Shortly after the interventional radiologist performed the kyphoplasty procedure, the patient experienced massive bleeding and death.

The plaintiff asked the jury to return a verdict in the amount of $2.8 million for medical malpractice and wrongful death. The jury returned a defense verdict in favor of our client.
