Reminger Obtains Defense Verdict in Favor of Radiologist

In a medical malpractice claim, Reminger attorneys Erin Hess and Danny Egger obtained a defense verdict for their neuro-interventional radiology client.

Plaintiffs alleged that our client was negligent in failing to timely perform a thrombectomy (a catheter-based procedure to remove a blood clot from the brain) and that the delay led to the development of Locked-In Syndrome and subsequent death one year later.

The Plaintiffs asked the jury to return a verdict in excess of $25 million for medical negligence and wrongful death. After twenty minutes of deliberations, the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Jury returned a verdict in favor of our client.
