Anthony Pernice and Justin Haubner Obtain Defense Verdict in Favor of Snow Removal Company

In a case of alleged negligence, attorneys Anthony Pernice and Justin Haubner secured a defense verdict for their client.

The plaintiff alleged negligence against our snow removal company client following a slip and fall incident during an active snow event. We defended that the snow removal company acted in accordance with industry standards by clearing the most heavily traveled areas of the facility first. Plaintiff made the choice to traverse a path that he could clearly see had not yet been treated, and was unlit at 5:30 am. Plaintiff claimed a two level cervical fusion as a result of his fall and sought to recover $5 million in pain and suffering damages.

The jury returned a defense verdict following approximately 45 minutes of deliberation.
