Trenton Gill and Joseph Zumpano Obtain Defense Verdict for Chiropractor

The Plaintiff had three appointments with our client, a chiropractor, and ultimately suffered a stroke secondary to a carotid artery dissection four days after the last adjustment.  Plaintiffs alleged that our client failed to recognize the red flag symptoms of a carotid artery dissection.

We contended that the Plaintiff either did not have a carotid artery dissection at the time of treatment or that the symptoms were so atypical that no medical provider would reasonably suspect such a condition.

Following a four-day trial, the jury delivered a defense verdict in approximately 30 minutes.
