COLUMBUS, OH – Reminger Co., LPA is proud to announce that Acacia Perko was recently named to the Advisory Board of Commonhouse Ales. Located in Columbus, Commonhouse Ales is certified as a B Corp by B Lab, making them the first certified B Corp brewery in Ohio. Acacia will serve as an Outside Director, offering her unique legal experience in the brewing industry and her insights from her membership and involvement with the Ohio Craft Beer Association.
Acacia’s legal practice includes both litigation and transactional matters. On the litigation side, her practice involves general casualty insurance defense and medical malpractice defense. She defends hospitals and physicians in numerous specialties as well as skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. On the transactional side, her practice focuses on employment, business, and intellectual property matters for companies, including local craft breweries.
Acacia is active in the legal community as a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio Women's Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers of Franklin County. Acacia is an active rider with the United States Equestrian Federation. She is a former board member of My Sister’s Place, a 501(c)(3) created to provide safe and sober housing for women in transition. Acacia is also a former co-chair of 4word Columbus, the Columbus chapter of 4word, a national faith-based community designed to connect, lead and support professional women to achieve their potential.
