Vincent Antaki and Jim Schirmer Obtain Unanimous Defense Verdict in General Liability Case

A jury returned a unanimous defense verdict in a 7-day trial involving allegations of improper bed bug spray application. Plaintiffs initially sought damages for personal injury, personal property, and real estate damage.

Through summary judgment, Antaki and Schirmer eliminated the first two claims, leaving only the real estate damage at issue. Plaintiffs alleged extensive remediation and remodeling costs, temporary housing expenses, and emotional distress, seeking over $370,000. 

After four hours of deliberation, the jury ruled in favor of the defense.
