Overview
The Estate and Trust Administration Group maintains a successful and respected practice in the area of estate and trust administration, including but not limited to, assistance with asset transfers, fiduciary appointments, estate tax returns, and probate court filings.
Our experience is broad and includes the handling of complex matters such as trust and/or estate administration through more simplified estates including releases from administration. Our experience includes both probate and non-probate matters, testate and intestate estates, and ancillary matters involving out of state property. We will typically represent the executor, administrator or trustee to ensure that the decedent’s intention is carried out in accordance of his/her trust or last will and testament.
The lawyers in the Estate and Trust Administration group are frequent lecturers and participants at professional seminars given by National, State, and Local Bar Associations in Ohio and elsewhere in the Midwest. We are able to offer our services based upon many different fee arrangements including percentage fees and traditional hourly rate fee structure.
We pride ourselves in providing efficient representation to our clients. Further, we value open communication whether by phone, email, facsimile, or otherwise in order for the client to have constant knowledge of the status of their file at any given time. Our lawyers and staff are sensitive to the needs of our clients, who are handling highly emotional matters due to a recent loss. We work to ensure that our clients are supported through the administrative matters at a time that grieving often takes precedence.
The Estate and Trust Administration Group also works closely with the lawyers in the Guardianship practice group, Estate Planning practice group, and Probate and Trust Litigation group as these matters often overlap.
